Theme

Energy Innovation for Sustainable Societies

Scope

This international symposium was established in 2007 by the Energy Division of the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan, as a forum for international exchange specializing in innovative energy materials and processes. The first was held in Kyoto, the second in Singapore (2010), the third in Fukuoka (2013), the fourth in Sicily (2016), and the fifth in Kanazawa (2019). And, after the spread of the new coronavirus, the 6th was held in Barcelona (2022), and next year (2025), the 7th will be held in Sendai.
As we aim to achieve a carbon neutral society, there is increasing attention being paid to research fields related to energy materials and processes, and we hope that this will be a place where many researchers gather and lively discussions are held.
